Dr Vinayak Ghanate

Dr Vinayak Ghanate is a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. He is a certified specialist in Hip & Knee reconstruction and Revision Joint replacement surgery. He performs primary and revision total knee replacement, Total hip replacement. Dr Ghanate also performs partial knee replacement and minimally invasive and Robotic total joint surgery.

He went to UK as International Royal College Fellow in 2017. He initially worked at Princess of wales Hospital, Bridgend, UK. He completed the Fellowship for 2 years and joined a Non-training Registrar rotation of Leicester University at Kettering General Hospital, England, UK. He completed his rotations and the FRCS Trauma & Orthopaedics from prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. During his 5 years of training in UK, DR Ghanate received extensive training in all aspects of Joint replacement, Trauma, Sports Injury and Bone Infection surgery. He completed his fellowship in Joint Replacement in Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune.

Dr Ghanate has attended medical school at B J Medical college and Sassoon Hospital, Pune in 2001 and completed his Orthopaedic training from Mysore medical college & K R Hospital, Mysore, Karnataka. He finished his DNB training from prestigious P D Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.

He is a member of AO trauma association and has special interest in complex reconstruction for fractures and Infection. He is certified ATLS provider. He is a regular faculty at Royal College affiliated course of Core Skills in Knee Replacement.
